How to Reset Outlook Inbox View
Sometimes a user may accidently press a hotkey that will alter the look of their Outlook email inbox, and it could look like mine pictured below.
This is a simple and quick fix that only takes a few seconds to do.
1. On the top ribbon of Outlook, select View and then click Change View

2. Make sure that Compact View is Selected, if it is selected and you are still having trouble, select Manage View
3. If there has been any custom modifications made accidently or purposely, you have the ability to click the Reset button under your Current View. Mine is grayed out since no customization has been made. After Reset, click OK to confirm.
After resetting, your Outlook inbox should look like the default inbox.
